How can innovations and research findings be applied more quickly in practice? Which ideas can solve societal challenges? To address big questions like these, the DATIpilot project of the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) brought innovations to the stage.

A total of 23 events in eight cities and a total of around 600 pitches – that's what the DATIpilot roadshow looked like in numbers. Each day, around 25 projects presented their ideas for technological and social innovations, alternating quickly on two stages. In five-minute pitches, the goal was to convince the audience of their own innovation sprint with its social added value. I captured each pitch in a graphic recording in Wolfsburg. This created a large, colorful gallery showcasing the diverse ideas over the course of the roadshow.
